Bob Wilt has over 30 years of executive and operational experience globally in metals, mining and multinational corporate leadership.

He has been the Chief Executive Officer of Ma’aden, the Saudi Arabian Mining Company, since February 2022, overseeing the growth of the largest mining company in the MENA region.

Prior to this, he held executive leadership roles in companies with a global footprint, managing two aerospace and industrial metals companies for Precision Castparts, a Berkshire Hathaway Company. He was also CEO of Sofina Foods, one of Canada’s leading food manufacturers.

He worked for Alcoa for 17 years, and led the company’s upstream segment as EVP and President of Global Primary Products, where he was responsible for the entire portfolio of mining, refining, smelting and energy businesses globally.

He is a graduate of the US Military Academy at West Point. He served as a combat engineer officer in the US Army’s 101st Airborne Division, and is a veteran of Operation Desert Storm. He holds a Master of Business Administration from Harvard Business School.
